Creation Falls / Red River Gorge, KY

Don't let the rain keep you from doing what you enjoy most! The Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge have something to offer everyone, rain or shine. I'm sure about everyone reading this has visited the Rock Bridge Trail that takes you out to Creation Falls. Can you imagine how beautiful the falls is right now!? If a trip to The Red is not in your plans, take a day to drive down and experience all that the area has to offer. Bring a poncho though, it's a little bit wet right now! While you're here, don't forget to stop by our Wild Things! of Kentucky. They have gem mining outside on a covered deck. You're sure to find something, and kids and adults alike love this activity. It's also a great getaway while you wait for the rain to pass so you can hit the trails! Wild Things also offers an indoor wildlife exhibit that is sure to excite the little ones! They can view Kentucky's live poisonous snakes & spiders up close behind a large glass wall! You can also watch live honey bees fly into their glass bee hive while making honey! Can you spot the queen bee? Before you leave, be sure to check out Ernie, the bathroom attendant. Talk about a hilarious experience! Good Morning! It's a beautiful day!! Why not come visit us here at the Natural Bridge & Red River Gorge! It's the perfect day to do some hiking and exploring in the Red. Be sure to bring some water though, it's going to be hot! If you need a guide or just need an idea of places to go, check out this article. Tomorrow is Mother's Day! They're calling for perfect weather so be sure to bring her to her favorite place, the Red. We have cabin availability for today and tomorrow if you're needing a place to stay! Be sure to stop by the Hemlock Lodge tomorrow between 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM and treat her to the Mother's Day Buffet!
