Warmer days are headed our way!

Hello Everyone!

It's a chilly day out but the sunshine feels great! We've got a cold few days ahead of us, but warmer days are coming! They're expecting us to hit 60 degrees next week! For now though, we still have several cabins available for this upcoming weekend. Do you have "cabin fever" after being snowed in from last weeks snow storm? Come see us for a perfect get-a-way! Load up the family and head on down to Natural Bridge & Red River Gorge area this weekend. We have cabin amenities that is sure to make it a memorable trip! Wishing for Warmer Weather

Looks like all the snow and ice may finally be melting here in the Red River Gorge and the Natural Bridge State Park. It has been a rough week with this weather and we are beyond excited  that it seems to be finally leaving our area. With that being said what better way to get out of that winter slump then spending a few sunny days hiking all the many trails in the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park.

We have a wonderful selection of cabins that are sure to fit everything that you are looking for. With the colder temperatures that are coming through this region what better way to spend the chilly nights that relaxing next to a warm fireplace or soaking in a hot tub. Snow, Snow & More Snow!

Happy Monday everyone!

I'm not sure about where you are, but here at Natural Bridge & Red River Gorge, we're being covered up by snow today! We hadn't had much a winter at all this season, but it's definitely making up for it now! We're already up to around 5 inches and a lot more accumulation is expected! Check out our live cam on our website to stay updated on the current weather conditions and keep track of all of this snow! If you have to be out driving in it today, we hope for safe travels for you all. If, like most, you have a snow day, have lots of fun!

We're open today until 6:00 PM if you have any questions or would like to book a cabin! Even in this snowy mess we're still renting cabins out and what better way to escape the cold then to get into a nice hot tub or relax next to a warm fireplace! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!

However you plan to spend this special day, we hope you stay safe! We are expecting some light accumulation of snow today so we hope for safe travels for everyone if you have to be out in it!

If you happen to be heading into the area this evening, at the Natural Bridge State Resort Park, they'll be having a prime rib buffet dinner for this special day! After that, you can go and enjoy the Valentine's Day square dance, also located in the Natural Bridge State Park. The Valentine’s Day square dance will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Woodland Center. Admission is $3 per person. Sure to be lots of fun!

Also, be sure to stop by 5 Star Cabin Rental & Wild Things! of Kentucky and grab a free coupon book for the area. You may also find the perfect Valentine's Day gift you've been searching for to surprise the sweetheart in your life! Wild Things gift shop is a beautiful attraction by itself but it also offers the most unique and gorgeous items around, not found anywhere else in the resort area! Be sure to check out the Nature Center as well. What an exciting adventure! Both locations are open until 7:00 PM this evening so be sure to stop in!

It's a busy day here in the Natural Bridge & Red River Gorge as you can imagine! A lot of people are out and about enjoying this special day! It's almost Valentine's Day!

We are enjoying some warm, sunny weather here in the area with high's in the 50's. It's a nice change from the colder temperatures we've been having. A lot of people are taking advantage of this nice weather to sight see the area of the Red River Gorge & Natural Bridge State Park.

Don't forget Valentine's Day is this weekend! We only have a few opening's left for Thursday & Friday night. If you can get a way come stay at one of our cozy cabins for a relaxing stay. Come see us!

Good Morning! What an awesome day it will be! We're expecting temperatures in the mid 50's and no rain in sight today! What a perfect day to come explore the Natural Bridge and enjoy the many trails of Red River Gorge! 

Just a bit of information to share today. The Gladie Learning Center in the Red River Gorge is temporarily closed to public visitation. Forest Service officials decided to close the center due to power line maintenance and construction needs.. The center is expected to reopen on March 9, resuming the summer schedule for visitation from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

Maps, firewood permits, and recreation fee passes for back country camping on the national forest lands in the Red River Gorge are available at the Stanton office, 705 West College Avenue. Recreational fee passes are also available at several convenience store locations in the area. 


Next weekend at the Natural Bridge State Resort Park in the Twin Arches Restaurant, they'll be holding a special Valentines Day dinner! Bring your sweetheart down and grab some dinner! They'll also be hosting they're annual Valentines Day Dance that's fun for everyone! After all the excitement for the day, you can nestle into one of our many luxurious cabins for the evening! Fully equipped with fireplaces, Jacuzzi's, hot tubs, WiFi, full kitchens, pool tables, fire pits, etc,. it's sure to be the perfect ending to a romantic getaway! <3

A warm weekend in the Red River Gorge!

It is going to be a beautiful weekend here in the Red RiverGorge and Natural Bridge State Park area. The news said that the temperatures are going to be in the 50s! That is perfect weather to come down and enjoy all the hiking trails in the Red River Gorge.

After spending a wonderful day hiking the Red River Gorge and going to Natural Bridge you can come back to one of our beautiful cabins. Super Bowl Sunday

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! What are your plans for watching the big game today? If you don't have plans or would like a nice get-a-way come watch the game at one of our cozy cabins. Our cabins have everything you need to watch the big game! They have flat screen tv's, fully equipped kitchen's to prepare your food, cozy fireplace's to keep you warm & a relaxing hot tub to enjoy whether your team wins or loses! It's a beautiful two bedroom cabin located across from the entrance to the Red River Gorge. If you are planning on coming to the Natural Bridge State Park or the Red River Gorge this weekend the hiking trails are open & it's supposed to be a very nice weekend outside. On Friday it's expected to be sunny with a high temperature of 44 degrees & on Saturday it's expected to be sunny again with a high temperature of 52 degrees. It would be a beautiful time to take a nice hike up to Natural Bridge to see the Natural Arch, Balanced Rock, & other unique rock formations. Or you could go to the Red River Gorge to drive the scenic route on 77 & 715. Along those route's there are many nice over looks such as Sky Bridge, Chimney Top Rock, & other cliff-line views! After a good day's hike & sight seeing head on over to the Natural Bridge State Resort where they will be having a large seafood buffet for the first Friday of the month. With a wide variety of seafood you won't want to miss out on this meal. They will be serving it from 4pm-8pm on Saturday February 7th.
