Hello Everyone! Another month has come and gone already. Time flies when you're having fun! Speaking of fun, come on down to the Red River Gorge & Natural Bridge area where there is something for everyone! Beautiful and busy weekend!!!

It sure is going to be a beautiful weekend here in Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge! A great time for a nice hike or to sit and relax by the pool at natural bridge state park. We still have some cabins available for this weekend. So if you are trying to plan a last minute getaway then look no further. Speaking of hiking, I had the luxury of take a hike over the weekend. I did the balanced rock trail at Natural Bridge State Park. It is a beautiful hike that takes you up to the Natural Bridge. You get to see a lot of nice sights. It's not that long of a hike either I want to say roughly a mile.

Also don't forget about our Wild Things of KY gift shop, where you can see a live animal display which includes snakes, turtles, spiders and lots more. Then when you get done going thru that browse our gift shop where we have lots to choose from. Including homemade fudge, t-shirts, jewelry, and lots more. Then we have our goats on a roof. Which I must say is a lot of fun, the little goats are so cute and love love love to eat. So stop by and give them a nice little snack that you can purchase inside the gift shop.

Then once your done doing all that your going to need a place to sit back and relax. That's where we come in. Our cabins have a lot to offer, hot tubs, fire pits, grills, fully equipped kitchens, pool tables. That just a few amenities to mention. So if you need something to do this weekend come one down. It was great holiday weekend here in Red River Gorge & Natural Bridge! I'm so glad the weather stayed beautiful and everyone was able to have an enjoyable weekend. It was the perfect weather to visit the pool in theNatural Bridge State Resort Park that opened up this weekend! I do hope everyone had a safe and fun couple of days!

Check out the pictures I posted of a little black bear! They were sent to me just this morning from one of our guests in a cabin. They said "it was quite the wake up call!" These guests made my day with these pictures. Such a beautiful animal! I had heard that we'll be seeing a lot more sightings in the next few years! I think that's so exciting!

Memorial Day Weekend

It is sure going to be a beautiful and busy weekend here in Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. WE have a lot going on with the pool opening on Saturday. Also the Lodge at natural bridge is hosting a bunch of different events. They have a guided hike to the natural bridge, live animal displays, a cave tour and ton more. So stop by and check it out. In the area there is a lot of hiking trails & overview's to be seen. Natural Bridge is popular for it's 22 minute sky lift ride up to see the overlook from Natural Bridge. You can also decide to walk the trail if you don't want to opt for the sky lift ride. Either way, it is a beautiful view that you can see for what seems like miles. This is also a very popular place to watch the sunset & sunrise. Keep that in mind when visiting the area!

The Red River Gorge area is popular for the scenic route drive that takes you through the Nada Tunnel on Route 77 around the clifty wilderness and many popular trails. Pick up a map at our gift shop of the Red River Gorge to help you find your way around. We also sell "Hiking the Red" which is a very informative book on the trails in the Red River Gorge and gives you detailed information on each one.

So if you come to the Natural Bridge & Red River Gorge there is a lot to see! Make plans to book a cabin with us while visiting the area to relax in after a long day of sight seeing & hiking. Happy Friday!

Good evening everyone! We hope you're enjoying this fantastic Friday! It's finally the weekend and we're sure you're as happy about that as we are! There are lots of people out and about enjoying the day! We've had several customers in the store buying firewood, quickwicks (fire starters), candles, t-shirts and a lot of other souvenirs and items they need for camping. If you're in the area, stop in and see us! We have a couple cabins left for this weekend if you're looking for a place to stay, or we have free area coupon books for some local savings if you're just pitching a tent and enjoying the great outdoors! Next weekend is Memorial Day weekend and everything in the Red River Gorge & Natural Bridge areas will be in full swing! Hoe Down Island opened for season last weekend and the pool at the Natural Bridge State Park will open next weekend! There's something fun here for everyone so grab the family and head on down. Beautfiul Day

Good morning! Its gonna be another beautiful day here in Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge. Be a nice day to get out and explore. We still have a few cabins available for this weekend. Some of my personal favorite places to visit in the gorge are sky bridge and princess arch. They aren't very long hikes but they sure are pretty. Then my favorite place to hike in Natural Bridge is the balanced rock trail. Its really neat and you get to see a lot of pretty landscapes. So if you are out and about in the area you should go and check these out. Also if you are in the area stop by and get a coupon book from us. You can save money on the zip line and on food. There is also some coupons in there for our wild things of Kentucky. Who doesn't like homemade fudge. I know i sure do. so stop by the gift shop at wild things and try some.  So stop by and see us. Also dont forget there is a sky lift that will take you up to natural bridge it a nice little ride to the top. So there is alot to do here in Natural Bridge and Red River Gorege.  Remember cabins are going fast for the weekend so don't delay call today.

Good Morning! It's a beautiful day!! Why not come visit us here at the Natural Bridge & Red River Gorge! It's the perfect day to do some hiking and exploring in the Red. Be sure to bring some water though, it's going to be hot! If you need a guide or just need an idea of places to go, check out this article. It goes in great detail of some of the Gorge's most popular hikes so you're sure to be prepared when visiting the area. I

Tomorrow is Mother's Day! They're calling for perfect weather so be sure to bring her to her favorite place, the Red.
