Beautiful and busy weekend!!!

It sure is going to be a beautiful weekend here in Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge! A great time for a nice hike or to sit and relax by the pool at natural bridge state park. Speaking of hiking, I had the luxury of take a hike over the weekend. I did the balanced rock trail at Natural Bridge State Park. It is a beautiful hike that takes you up to the Natural Bridge. You get to see a lot of nice sights. It's not that long of a hike either I want to say roughly a mile.

Also don't forget about our Wild Things of KY gift shop, where you can see a live animal display which includes snakes, turtles, spiders and lots more. Then when you get done going thru that browse our gift shop where we have lots to choose from. Including homemade fudge, t-shirts, jewelry, and lots more. Then we have our goats on a roof. Which I must say is a lot of fun, the little goats are so cute and love love love to eat. So stop by and give them a nice little snack that you can purchase inside the gift shop.

Then once your done doing all that your going to need a place to sit back and relax. That's where we come in. Our cabins have a lot to offer, hot tubs, fire pits, grills, fully equipped kitchens, pool tables. That just a few amenities to mention. So if you need something to do this weekend come one down. Memorial Day Weekend

It is sure going to be a beautiful and busy weekend here in Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. WE have a lot going on with the pool opening on Saturday. Also the Lodge at natural bridge is hosting a bunch of different events. They have a guided hike to the natural bridge, live animal displays, a cave tour and ton more. So stop by and check it out. Beautfiul Day

Good morning! Its gonna be another beautiful day here in Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge. Be a nice day to get out and explore. We still have a few cabins available for this weekend. Some of my personal favorite places to visit in the gorge are sky bridge and princess arch. They aren't very long hikes but they sure are pretty. Then my favorite place to hike in Natural Bridge is the balanced rock trail. Its really neat and you get to see a lot of pretty landscapes. So if you are out and about in the area you should go and check these out. Also if you are in the area stop by and get a coupon book from us. You can save money on the zip line and on food. There is also some coupons in there for our wild things of Kentucky. Who doesn't like homemade fudge. I know i sure do. so stop by the gift shop at wild things and try some.  So stop by and see us. Also dont forget there is a sky lift that will take you up to natural bridge it a nice little ride to the top. So there is alot to do here in Natural Bridge and Red River Gorege.  Remember cabins are going fast for the weekend so don't delay call today.

Another round of storms today...

Good Morning! Yet another rainy day. Don't let that get you down though! There's still plenty of fun things to do in the Red River Gorge & Natural Bridge areas. For instance, our Wild Things! Of Kentucky has quite a few things to keep the kids busy on these dreary days! They offer an indoor wildlife exhibit where you can see local spiders, fish, turtles, and venomous and non venomous snakes. They have one of the coolest gift shops in the area! Plenty for the kids to see. They also offer gem mining on a covered porch and that's fun for everyone! Wild Things also has "Goats on the Roof"! You can purchase an ice cream cone full of food inside the gift shop then send it up to the goats to eat! They are so cute! You're sure to just love them! Be sure to grab some fresh, homemade fudge while you're there too! That's sure to make someones day brighter!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

The weather has been pretty wet the last couple of days. It's the second time this year we've dealt with flooding in the Red River Gorge area. One good thing about it though, I've heard several compliments about how everything is so green right now. It's beautiful. The trees are starting to get newly sprouting foliage also. It's a soggy but pretty time to visit.

We just received some new shipments in at 5 Star & Wild Things! of Kentucky for new merchandise. Come check our stores out to find the perfect gift/souvenir! Wild Things has some really cool stuff to do on these rainy days! They also just got some fresh, homemade fudge in. That's always a sure way to brighten someones day.
