These houses sit on the same property and have a swimming pool coming summer 2016. House #1 sleeps 6 people, & House #2 sleeps 8 people. We will have picture's soon for Red River Ranch House #2. The cold weather has found us, even if it's just for a few days. We even had snow flurries yesterday that covered part's of the area & surrounding counties. The holiday season is upon us and we are all making last minute preparations of getting everything in order for next week! The staff at Five Star Cabin Rental looks forward to spending this time with our families & making great memories. It has been a great year for all of us & we look forward to what next year will bring us!

Now Presenting Red River Gorge Ranch House

The snow is flying here in the Red River Gorge. You can tell that Christmas is on it's way! What better way to celebrate the holidays than by staying in a gorgeous cabin here in the Daniel Boone National Forest?! We also have a new house called Red River Gorge Ranch House #1! It has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, stove and a refrigerator. It has two private queen bedrooms and another private bedroom equipped with bunk beds. The Ranch House also has a spacious family room gathering area, a hot tub, WiFi, gas fireplace, and a washer and dryer. It also has one full bathroom with a shower. The Red River Gorge Ranch House #1 also has an adjacent campground swimming pool coming soon in 2016!!! This house is located on a large property surrounded by forest and overlooking the cliff line of the Red River Gorge! Nothing says 'Relaxation' quite like spending some time out in the magnificent scenery in the Red River Gorge Geological Area! You'll feel right at home here in our beautiful region! It looks like winter has officially found us! It's only in the 30's today and we've seen flurries flying all morning. While it's a beautiful sight to see, it's also pretty rigid to be out in. Looks like we may have a chance at a beautiful, white Christmas after all this year! I was starting to get worried, we'd remained for the most part in the 60's and 70's so far!! Remember, you can keep track of weather and road conditions right on our site with our live camera feed!

Last minute cancellation!

Good afternoon! We've had a last minute cancellation for our "Deer Track Falls Country Home" for this upcoming weekend (October 23-25). Deer Track Falls can hold up to six guests, it is situated on 5 acres of land, and is only a few minutes drive from the Natural Bridge State Park & Red River Gorge. Check out this link for more information! Deer Track Falls is a brick home that is tastefully designed like a cabin. It offers all the same amenities as a cabin such as a hot tub on the deck, fireplace, outdoor fire pit, etc. Right now is the perfect time to visit the area if you want to see something spectacular!  The foliage is filled with yellows, oranges, and reds and the weather has been perfect. They're calling for it to be close to the 80's this weekend! Grab a few friends and some family and head our way. There is a local festival in Lee County (Beattyville, KY) called the Woolly Worm Festival and it's only a 15 minute drive that you can go and check out while you're here visiting. Presenting: Mountain Rose Chalet

Happy Sunday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We sure did. Other than amazing weather, the fall foliage is almost at its "peak" for October. It's a beautiful sight. We also have a new cabin on our rental program as of this past weekend called Mountain Rose Chalet. Its name suits it perfectly! Check out the pictures of the cabin below. Mountain Rose offers a private queen bedroom downstairs and a queen bed in the loft for a max occupancy of 4. It has 1 full bathroom downstairs and a half bath upstairs, TV / satellite, washer/dryer, charcoal grill, and a full size pool table. Mountain Rose is located on Cabin Country Development which is directly behind our office and Shell gas station. That means you're only a couple of miles from Red River Gorge or Natural Bridge. That also puts you only about 15 minutes from the Woolly Worm Festival located in Beattyville, KY that will be this weekend! Check out this link to view the virtual tour!
