It is a bit chilly today in the Red River Gorge Geological Area. Winter has finally found us! We're supposed to have some absolutely frigid temperatures in the next few days! Despite the temperatures, there is still a lot to see at Natural Bridge and the Red River Gorge this time of year. You can see the Red River Gorge without even leaving the comfort of your warm car! There is a forty-five to sixty minute driving loop you can use to see all the wonderful sights of the Gorge! You can drive through Nada Tunnel, a man-made tunnel that a train used to go through!

We still have the 'Celebration Promo' running through the months of January and February. All you have to do is call our office and book two nights in a cabin and you can receive a third night for free! Your stay must be consecutive, cannot fall on a holiday weekend or weekday (Valentine's Day or President's Day), and can only be used on new reservations only.

We also have the 'Be My Valentine' promo as well. If you book two nights for Valentine's Day weekend, you could receive your third night for only $98.00! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!

However you plan to spend this special day, we hope you stay safe! We are expecting some light accumulation of snow today so we hope for safe travels for everyone if you have to be out in it!

If you happen to be heading into the area this evening, at the Natural Bridge State Resort Park, they'll be having a prime rib buffet dinner for this special day! After that, you can go and enjoy the Valentine's Day square dance, also located in the Natural Bridge State Park. The Valentine’s Day square dance will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Woodland Center. Admission is $3 per person. Sure to be lots of fun!

Also, be sure to stop by 5 Star Cabin Rental & Wild Things! of Kentucky and grab a free coupon book for the area. You may also find the perfect Valentine's Day gift you've been searching for to surprise the sweetheart in your life! It's a busy day here in the Natural Bridge & Red River Gorge as you can imagine! A lot of people are out and about enjoying this special day! A warm weekend in the Red River Gorge!

It is going to be a beautiful weekend here in the Red RiverGorge and Natural Bridge State Park area. The news said that the temperatures are going to be in the 50s! That is perfect weather to come down and enjoy all the hiking trails in the Red River Gorge.

After spending a wonderful day hiking the Red River Gorge and going to Natural Bridge you can come back to one of our beautiful cabins. Chilly day in the Red River Gorge!

Another month has come and gone already! But you know what that means! We're that much to closer warmer weather!!
